Employment Screening Company Moving To Missouri

Alere eScreen is expanding in Kansas City, MO with a $6.8 million investment and 30 new jobs.

eScreen, Inc., a subsidiary of Alere Inc., is moving its headquarters to Kansas City, MO. In addition to eScreen’s more than 235 current employees, the project includes the creation of 30 new jobs and a capital investment of more than $6.8 million. Operations will include global IT, finance, legal, operations and executive occupations.

Kansas City Missouri“We look forward to further investing in our local presence in Kansas City,” said Christopher Tarpey, General Manager of Alere eScreen. “In preparation for ongoing growth, the new facility will allow us to rapidly scale our local organization. The attractive location and progressive office design will further support our company culture and our endeavor in building a world class team here in Kansas City.”

To assist Alere eScreen with its move to Kansas City, the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation criteria. Kessinger/Hunter and Co. and Executive Hills Management, Inc. are also facilitating the move for Alere eScreen.

As a technology-enabled third party administrator, Alere eScreen® solutions provide next-generation employment screening applications for drug testing and occupational health services. Founded in 1998, the company now has more than 3,500 eScreen Occupational Health Network provider locations and processes millions of healthcare and corporate data transactions each year.
