SocialClicks, a provider of mobile and social marketing solutions, has announced the start of an operation to expand and diversify its team with initiatives in collaboration with the city of Cambridge, MA to hire local talent. Earlier in 2014, SocialClicks opened its U.S. headquarters at the Cambridge Innovation Center. The company then began to focus on bringing jobs to residents of the Cambridge community.
“SocialClicks has made it their priority to offer great jobs to Cambridge residents, and in particular, to recruit individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. This is an incredible benefit to our community of hard working residents and directly aligns with the City’s efforts to encourage diverse, locally sourced employment opportunities,” said Mayor David Maher. “I believe that SocialClicks, and any company willing to hire locally, has a very bright future in Cambridge.”
SocialClicks CEO Alon Michaeli said, “Mayor Maher’s proactive approach to delivering and diversifying jobs for local residents was a deciding factor in SocialClicks’ site commitment, as his vision complements our company’s principles as an international establishment. Born in Tel Aviv and in collaboration with clients around the world, SocialClicks values a team diverse in language and culture at a local level.”
