“IVS eagerly awaits the grand opening of our new building, which will allow us to build innovative products for some of America’s most prominent companies on a larger scale,” said Innovative Vehicle Solutions COO Matt Kuhn. “This enormous investment in the future of our company will enable us to take our manufacturing operations to the next level.”

Launched in 2012, IVS is a commercial truck body builder and upfitter that has grown to include 18 locations in 12 states. Recently recognized as the third-fastest-growing business in South Carolina by The Capital Corporation’s SC Fastest Growing Company Program and featured in Charleston Business Magazine, IVS uses cutting-edge technology to maximize the efficiency of light-duty and medium-duty commercial trucks and vans.

“South Carolina is full of talented people, and that’s why companies like Innovative Vehicle Solutions continue to thrive and succeed here,” said Gov. Henry McMaster. “We look forward to continuing this partnership between our state and this fantastic company.”

IVS plans to open its new manufacturing facility in Ladson, SC in the coming weeks. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $100,000 Set Aside grant to Charleston County for building construction costs associated with the expansion project.

“South Carolina’s automotive industry continues to impress, and this announcement by Innovative Vehicle Solutions is a further testament to all we’ve been able to accomplish in South Carolina,” said South Carolina Commerce Secretary Bobby Hitt. “These new jobs will make a big difference in the Lowcountry, and we’re excited to see what the future has in store for IVS.”
