First Speakers Announced For This Year’s LiveXchange
The first speakers have been announced for this year's Business Facilities LiveXchange, which will take place April 19-21, 2020 at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge in Charlotte, NC.
This year’s LiveXchange event will present a comprehensive, practical and strategic conference program that will help delegates better plan and manage their companies’ relocation or expansion projects. This unique experience will be supplemented by an all-star list of guest speakers, who will be making presentations and leading discussions on a number of hot-button issues.

Keynote Presentation — Reshoring in 2020: Outlook And Strategies Rosemary Coates, Executive Director, Reshoring Institute
Rosemary Coates is the Executive Director of the Reshoring Institute and the President of Blue Silk Consulting. She is a seasoned executive with an MBA, and 25 years of experience in Management Consulting. She is also a best-selling author of five books on supply chain management. She has considerable international experience and has worked for extended periods in Asia and Europe. As part of her work at the Reshoring Institute, she assists clients in manufacturing site selection.
Allea Newbold negotiates credits and incentives for new and expanding companies nationwide, helping them maximize return on investment. Her tenacity and creativity have built a record of success in property tax abatement, sales tax refunds, cash grants, tax credits and Tax Increment Financing (TIF). Clients of all sizes and industries seek out Ms. Newbold’s almost 20 years of professional expertise.
Christopher Steele is a shareholder in Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Atlanta office in the Trusts & Estates Practice Group, where he serves as a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and business owners.Mr. Steele takes pride in building strong relationships with financial advisors, accounting firms, and family offices to ensure that clients receive a comprehensive approach to their planning. Mr. Steele focuses his practice on tax, trusts, and estates.
Basil Yap serves as program manager for the North Caroloina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Division of Aviation’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program. In this role, he envisions and directs efforts that position North Carolina as a global leader in UAS (drone) safety, government integration, commercial and economic development, and knowledge creation. That includes ensuring North Carolina maintains the safest possible environment for drone operations; maximizes state and local agency use of UAS technology to improve public services and operations; builds a world-leading UAS economy; pursues research and innovations that promote drone safety, government integration and commercial development; and designs and advocates for supportive local, state and federal policies.
