Quest Diagnostics has announced that it will expand its presence in Lenexa and hire 500 workers for its new Quest Diagnostics National Operations Center. The center is expected to be fully operational in 2015.
“Quest Diagnostics is creating hundreds of jobs in Lenexa, which will benefit our state’s economy,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “Kansas has been building a leading business environment, ensuring that our state is an ideal location for companies to grow, hire and invest.”
“Quest Diagnostics has been an important corporate contributor to Lenexa for several years,” U.S. Senator Pat Roberts said in a release. “We are thrilled that they have elected to extend their operations in Lenexa and create new quality jobs for our community.”
Quest Diagnostics is a provider of diagnostic information services. The company offers broad access to diagnostic information services through its network of laboratories and patient service centers, and provides interpretive consultation through its extensive medical and scientific staff.
