Transportation Companies Choose Arizona, Creating 130 Jobs

Setna iO will open new facility in Tempe, while Expertec locates its first U.S. vehicle upfitting operation in the city of Gilbert.

 Setna iO, a global aftermarket aircraft part supplier, and its sister company Setnix, a premier MRO repair station, will expand its aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul operations with the acquisition of a new facility in Tempe, Arizona.

The newly acquired facility, spans 112,000 square feet — over three times the size of the previous 30,000-square-foot location. The new facility will enable Setna iO and Setnix to expand its operations and equipment from 44 served product lines to over 100 within a year, including main engine services. The expansion is set to create more than 130 new jobs and is expected to be fully operational in 2025.

Expertec To Expand In Gilbert, AZ, Aquiring Work Truck Solutions

Expertec, a Canada based provider of vehicle upfitting solutions has announced its expansion to Gilbert, Arizona aligned with its acquisition of Work Truck Solutions, a well-regarded company currently located in Greater Phoenix. This investment establishes Expertec’s first location in the U.S.

For almost 20 years, Expertec has been a key player in the Canadian vehicle upfitting industry. The acquisition of Work Truck Solutions, a former customer of Expertec, underscores the strong, long-standing relationship between the two companies. The shared commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction made this acquisition a natural progression.

Effective immediately, Work Truck Solutions will be rebranded and operate under the Expertec name in Gilbert. This rebranding aims to ensure a seamless transition for customers and to unify the brand under a single, strong identity. Together, they will further commit to their service philosophy: Where Partnership meets Precision; Delivering Solutions with Innovative Excellence.

Expertec chose to open its first U.S. location in Gilbert after considering many other cities in the western U.S. and evaluating economic and social factors in each region. Ultimately, the strong support from key vendors and the strategic advantages of Greater Phoenix made it the optimal choice for Expertec’s expansion.
