Team 360 Services is expanding its headquarters in Indianapolis, creating up to 137 new jobs by 2020. The Indiana-based fire protection and building services company is investing $1.83 million to lease and equip its new 74,000-square-foot headquarters facility on Indianapolis’ near east side.
Earlier this year, Team 360 Services relocated from its previous 19,000-square-foot office just over one mile away, to a new open-concept office that has multiple break-out rooms, and increased space for training, client meetings and employee collaboration. The company currently employs more than 300 associates across the country, including more than 170 at its headquarters in Indianapolis.
“Team 360 moved its headquarters to an underdeveloped downtown Indianapolis in mid-2010 to help create economic growth for the area,” said Michael Crafton, chief executive officer at Team 360 Services. “We believed in the growth of the city and wanted to support that growth. In early 2015, we had to decide whether or not to move to the East Coast or continue investing in Indiana. Ultimately, Indiana was the better choice due to their commitment to local business, ideal central Midwest location and prime economic environment.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has offered Team 360 Services up to $650,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $75,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. Team 360 Services will not be able to claim the performance-based incentives until employees are hired. The city of Indianapolis is supporting the project in partnership with Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
Team 360 Services serves clients nationally across multiple service lines including kitchen hood cleaning, fire extinguisher and suppression services, electrical and mechanical services, grease trap pumping, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration. In addition to its Indiana offices in Indianapolis, Evansville and Fort Wayne, Team 360 Services also operates offices in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada and New York.
“Safety is a top priority for our city’s businesses, and Indianapolis is fortunate to have companies like Team 360 Services who are providing innovative solutions to address fire protection and building maintenance,” said Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. “Indy’s near east side has incredible momentum thanks to companies like Team 360 Services choosing to invest in the community, recognizing the potential for growth and opportunity by leveraging Indy’s talented workforce. Congratulations to Michael Crafton and the Team 360 Services team for this announcement, and I look forward to their continued growth in this important industry.”
Team 360 Services’ growth plans continue a trend of companies choosing to expand and add new jobs across the state. Indiana’s unemployment rate – which now stands at 4.5 percent – has dropped by 6.2 percent since 2009, which is the fourth largest decrease in the nation. Meanwhile, Indiana has added 331,500 new jobs over that same period.
