Chrysler Group Invests Millions In Indiana, Adds 1,250 New Jobs
With this announcement, Chrysler Group has confirmed total investments of more than $1.6 billion in Kokomo for production of the eight- and nine-speed transmissions as well as various other process improvements at all four facilities in the area. The company currently employs more than 6,100 in Kokomo.
Metal Fabricator To Relocate From Ohio To Northeast Indiana
The company will invest $2.7 million to move its headquarters and operations to its existing 130,000 square-foot facility in Fremont. KMI also plans to relocate fabricating equipment from Ohio and update the Steuben County facility's software and technology.
