Switch Automation Opens Seattle Office

Switch Automation’s COO Peter Rake will head new office.

Switch Automation’s CEO Deb Noller has announced the opening of the company’s second West Coast office, in Seattle, to serve clients in the Pacific Northwest. The office will be headed up by Peter Rake, Chief Operations Officer.

Noller said, “We have placed our most senior operations person, Peter Rake, into Seattle, to work with more than 1.5 million square feet of buildings that have already signed up to utilize data from the Switch Smart Hub and to meet the needs of new customers. Peter will lead our effort in the Northwest to deliver the power of Cloud Computing to monitor, analyze and control buildings, along with facilitate energy efficiency improvements for building owners, managers and tenants, based on improved real-time data analytics and control of building operations.”

Charlie Cunniff, Green Business Manager at the Seattle Office of Economic Development, said, “We’ve been meeting with Switch Automation for the past several months and are pleased that such an innovative technology company has chosen Seattle for its first permanent U.S. office. We look forward to working closely with Deb Noller and Peter Rake to provide the company with the support it needs to grow its presence here.”

Peter Rake has been a key player with Switch Automation for the past three years and has been in the building automation industry for more than 10 years.
