Advanced Manufacturing: Manufacturing accounts for 7.3% of North
Dakota’s Gross State Product. Strong market growth, both domestically and internationally, has contributed to a healthy manufacturing economy.


Energy: North Dakota produces vast amounts of energy from the many abundant sources available. From coal and oil to wind and solar, energy sources complement each other providing reliable, redundant availability to power the surrounding states with reliable deliveries to fuel and electricity.


Technology: The state is ranked #2 in the nation for ultra-fast internet access (besting most of our neighbors); 30% of our households have access to the internet faster than 1 Gbps (billions of bits per second).

  TOP PROJECTS

Bobcat Company recently completed a $9.3 million investment in punch press automation and press technology at its manufacturing facility in Gwinner. The North Dakota Development Fund invested in three technology startup companies through its Angel Match Program, which supports early-stage primary sector businesses by matching investor commitments up to $250,000. AGCO will house its 300-acre Dakota Smart Farm on the Grand Farm Innovation Campus. Epitome Energy LLC also selected Grand Forks for its $400 million soybean crushing plant.
