The 2022 Deal of the Year Impact Awards recognize project investments that will have significant impact in their new or expanded locations, focusing on a specific aspect of the project.

Here are this year’s Deal of the Year award winners, starting with Platinum Winner Empire State Development, for Micron Technology's $100B investment in New York State.

The 2022 Gold Deal of the Year award goes to JobsOhio: Intel is investing $20 billion to build its first semiconductor facility in the U.S. in four decades, choosing Licking County, Ohio.

Orange County Economic Development Corporation: Along Texas’ Gulf Coast, Chevron Phillips Chemical solidifies it roots with an $8 billion integrated polymers facility, in a joint venture with QatarEnergy named Golden Triangle Polymers Company LLC

The 2022 Bronze Deal of the Year award goes to the Savannah Harbor-Interstate 16 Joint Development Authority for bringing Hyundai Motor Group’s $5 billion EV and battery manufacturing plant to Georgia.

MSS Steel Tubes USA LLC and The Robinette Company will create 200 manufacturing jobs in Sullivan and Shelby counties in Tennessee.

Throughout 2022, the Tar Heel State steadily attracted and retained business investment with its regional approach and world-class resources.

The Procter & Gamble project is expected to bring 100 new jobs to Box Elder County, UT in the next 20 years, as well as millions of dollars in investment.
