Florida: Launching Towards The Future

Florida has seen consistent economic growth, and is attracting bustling industries as it offers companies the tools they need to succeed.

$5 Million Invested Into New Facilities In Pasco County

Global ETS has invested over $5 million dollars in new facilities, including new automation equipment, and hired over 100 new employees in Pasco County, Florida. The company has been experiencing rapid growth over the last several years and has expanded into three new buildings (one lease, two purchases) in the West Pasco Industrial Park over the past 18 months to support the growth of their global microchip testing operation. Global ETS is headquartered in North Tampa Bay, FL with five additional locations around the world.

“Pasco EDC has been instrumental to the success of Global ETS, offering invaluable guidance and customized incentives that have reinforced our decision to establish our headquarters in Pasco County,” said Dan Tang, CEO, Global ETS. “As a business owner, feeling supported by the community is crucial, and thanks to Pasco EDC, we’re not just a business here; we’re part of a thriving community committed to mutual growth.”

Pasco County is the 8th fastest growing county in the United States. Companies are locating to Pasco for expansion sites strategically located along major transportation corridors providing access to consumer markets, skilled workforce, and vibrant communities. The location provides easy access to the Tampa Bay region which features Tampa International Airport, the number one large airport in customer satisfaction for the second consecutive year, as well as Port Tampa Bay, Florida’s largest seaport and the closest U.S. deep-water port to the Panama Canal.

Pasco County has over 2,200 evaluated acres of land available for industrial development through its Ready Sites Program, and for those looking to locate rather quickly, there is over 700,000 square feet of speculative space available for anything from Class A Office to Class A Industrial Flex facilities.

The Pasco Ready Sites Program assesses, evaluates, and certifies large tracts of land to prepare properties for industrial development. The program has seen great success through the sale of 68 acres for an Amazon Robotic Sortation Center at an impressive 517,000 square feet, and most recently Bauducco Foods, a Brazil-based food manufacturer, purchased 72 acres on the Zephyrhills Airport Industrial Park Ready Site and will create 600 jobs and invest $233 million.

Pasco County features a pro-business government leadership in a right-to-work state with local incentives, low operating costs, and no personal state income tax. Local government supports sustained business growth by offering customized incentive packages to provide savings and benefits to companies creating high wage jobs, making capital investments in site development for new facilities, retrofitting existing buildings, new machinery, and workforce training grants. Pasco County’s strategic location, pro-business government, and existing business landscape make it the perfect location to Start, Move, and Grow, your business.
