Bosch Group Growing In South Carolina

The global technology company will invest $152 million to expand its Anderson County, SC operations, creating 130 new jobs.

Bosch Group is expanding its existing Anderson County, SC operations. To accommodate its continued growth, the global supplier of technology and services is making an additional $152 million in capital investment and creating 130 new jobs.

“Having spent eight years of my Bosch career working as the technical plant manager at our Anderson location, I have a special bond with the people in this plant as well as with our local and state governments,” said Bosch North America President Mike Mansuetti. “I’m very proud that our Anderson location has continued to flourish over the years and is bringing additional jobs to the community. We appreciate our long relationship with the Anderson County government as well as the S.C. Department of Commerce and look forward to continued cooperation.”

Employing approximately 390,000 associates worldwide, Bosch Group is a leading Internet of Things (IoT) company, offering innovative solutions for smart homes, smart cities, connected mobility and connected industry. Including sales and service partners, Bosch’s global manufacturing, engineering and sales network covers nearly every country in the world. The company’s Anderson County expansion will include growth of several product lines related to automotive electronic components.

South Carolina’s Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to the project.
