Blue Apron Adding 2,000 Jobs In New Jersey

The recipe and food delivery company will expand its New Jersey operations with a state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Linden, creating more than 2,000 jobs.

Recipe and fresh food delivery company Blue Apron is expanding its fulfillment operations in New Jersey with the opening of a new 495,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Linden. The company expects to employ over 2,000 people in the new facility when it opens.

“We’re excited to be expanding our presence in New Jersey and bringing full-time jobs to the Linden community,” said Matt Salzberg, Blue Apron co-founder and CEO. “Our new fulfillment center will help improve the efficiency and capacity of our operations to meet strong customer demand.”

The Linden facility will be outfitted with state-of-the-art technology and a variety of employee amenities. The fulfillment center is currently under construction and slated to officially open for production later this year.

Blue Apron currently operates fulfillment centers in Jersey City, NJ; Arlington, TX; and Richmond, CA. In addition to its new Linden facility, the company also plans to open a new fulfillment center in Fairfield, CA in 2018.
