The food packaging company will take over an existing 300,000-square-foot facility, previously owned by Capstone Nutrition. The new facility will be primarily used for contract blending and packaging of sports nutrition products. Armada will add new machinery and data equipment to the facility over the next five years. With this expansion, the company will create 310 new jobs as well as retain 111 jobs from Capstone Nutrition.

“We feel fortunate to be in a position to have acquired this fantastic facility,” said Armada General Manager Brent Laffey. “We are extremely excited to welcome the employees and value the experience and industry expertise they will bring. We are looking forward to continuing to grow the business and expand our team by employing from within the Spring Hill community.”

Founded in 2015, Armada Nutrition is a contract manufacturer for high quality nutritional powders dedicated to providing customers with innovative formulations and turnkey products.

Bill Haslam. “We appreciate Armada Nutrition for choosing to increase its operations in our state and for creating more than 300 jobs in Maury County. Armada Nutrition’s decision to expand in Spring Hill brings us one step closer to our goal of making Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

“There are over 37,000 Tennesseans employed in the food and agribusiness sector and we appreciate Armada Nutrition for creating these valuable jobs for our workforce,” said Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd. “On behalf of Team Tennessee, we thank Armada Nutrition for choosing to expand in Spring Hill and for its continued commitment to Maury County and Tennessee.”
