Wayfair Will Create 150 Jobs In Georgia

The online home furnishings and décor seller has selected Henry County for its newest distribution center.

Wayfair, the online seller of home furnishings and décor, will locate its newest distribution center in a new spec building in Henry County, GA. The project will generate more than 150 new logistics and fulfillment jobs and drive significant investment over the next two years. Boston-based Wayfair’s new operation will service the southeastern U.S.

Wayfair offers shoppers a selection of home goods across all styles and price points, customer service and the convenience of online shopping. Currently, Wayfair’s vast selection of home furnishings and décor includes more than 7 million products from over 7,000 suppliers across five distinct brands: Wayfair.com, AllModern, Birch Lane, DwellStudio and Joss & Main. The company employs more than 5,300 personnel and has operations throughout North America and Europe.

Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) Project Manager Josh Stephens represented the Global Commerce Division in partnership with the Henry County Development Authority, the Georgia Ports Authority, the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Georgia Power and Transwestern.
