Bandwidth To Invest More Than $100M In North Carolina Expansion

The software company will expand its presence in Raleigh, NC by building a new corporate headquarters and adding more than 1,000 jobs.

Bandwidth Inc. will invest more than $100 million in a major expansion of its Raleigh, NC operations. As part of the project, Bandwidth will designate Raleigh as its corporate headquarters and will add 1,165 jobs in Wake County.

Bandwidth is a software company focused on communications and has called Raleigh home for the past 19 years. Currently located on North Carolina State University’s Centennial Campus, Bandwidth has more than 750 employees between its Raleigh, Denver, and Rochester offices. The company completed an initial public offering (IPO) in 2017 and has played a critical role in the development of communications for global companies such as Google, Microsoft, Zoom, and others.

Bandwidth will look to grow its existing workforce by adding positions in research and development, sales and marketing, operations, and administration. New positions will offer wages that average $96,832 in annual total compensation.
