Pinnacle Technology Group Opening New Ohio Location

Attracted to the region’s transportation network and skilled workforce, the company will hire 35 people to work in its new $570,000 facility in Maumee, OH.

Pinnacle Technology Group, a leading electronic design and manufacturing company, has chosen Northwest Ohio for a new production facility. The company’s new manufacturing and warehouse space in Maumee, OH, about 10 miles southwest of Toledo, will accommodate its growth in the expanding LED lighting industry. Pinnacle Technology Group plans to hire 35 new people to support its nearly $600,000 investment.

Maumee, OhioThe company was specifically looking for a location with a healthy business environment, available talent, and easy market access in order to fuel further growth.

“Toledo’s logistics assets make it easy and convenient for distribution to our customers,” said Rick Wasserman, president, Pinnacle Technology Group. “The efforts of JobsOhio and the [Regional Growth Partnership] were extremely helpful in identifying the right location for our new facility and identifying grant opportunities for new equipment and machinery.”

In addition to a comprehensive transportation network, Wasserman also pointed to the region’s diverse and skilled workforce to support the unique processes of the complex manufacturing operations.

Pinnacle is a producer of high-quality electronics and designs for a diverse set of clientele, delivering comprehensive product life cycle support for electronic manufacturing. Its electronics design and manufacturing services result in products ranging from simple printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies to high-end electromechanical box builds.

The Regional Growth Partnership assisted Pinnacle in the site search process, looking to identify what the company described as the most efficient and convenient location. Ultimately, a site was secured in Maumee, offering immediate access to Interstates 80, 90 and 75. JobsOhio supported the company’s overall machinery and equipment investment, offseting startup costs for equipment and facility build-out to efficiently manufacture high volume LED lighting products.
