The new El Paso, TX facility will create 120 new jobs to accommodate growth in the data center market, and showcase the latest in smart factory innovation.

Schneider Electric Expanding El Paso, Texas Plant

Schneider Electric recently inaugurated a new plant in El Paso, TX which will increase production capacity to accommodate growth in the data center market. The 112,000-square-foot expansion of Schneider Electric’s current operations will create 100 hourly and 20 salaried jobs to support production of new energy management and automation products and solutions.

El Paso, Texas“The incredible talent and resources available in Texas have enabled Schneider Electric to continually innovate for our customers and improve our manufacturing processes,” said Ted Klee, Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, North America, Schneider Electric. “We’re confident this continued investment in El Paso will benefit the community as well as our customers, suppliers, and employees, and will serve the demands of the market for years to come.”

Named El Paso 3, the new plant will employ the latest techniques in supply chain methodology for enhanced quality and productivity and will integrate Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure products throughout the facility. This includes the integration of connected products, edge control, and analytics software on the plant floor, demonstrating the latest in smart factory innovation. Furthermore, the plant will embrace Schneider Electric’s new modern workplace policy and provide an open, collaborative space for employees.

El Paso 3 will begin production this month and ramp up to full capacity in Q1 2019.
