Fuel Total Systems (FTS) will invest approximately $60.9 million to build a new manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, TN. The automotive components manufacturer will create 150 new jobs at the 110,000-square-foot facility in the Cherry Glen Industrial Park, a Select Tennessee Certified site. The new location will help FTS better serve its Southeastern customers.

Our mission is to create a safe workplace for our employees, to be a good corporate citizen in this community, and to grow together with the people of Mount Pleasant and Maury County.”
Japan-based FTS is a manufacturer of automotive plastic fuel tank systems and related automotive components. The company focuses on the development, design, manufacturing, and sale of fuel tanks, appurtenant parts, as well as engine and Hybrid parts. It also has operations in Kentucky.

We thank FTS for its commitment to our state and look forward to building a strong partnership for years to come.”
“We are excited Fuel Total Systems has chosen Cherry Glen Industrial Park in Mount Pleasant to locate new operations,” said Mayor Jim Bailey. “FTS will be the first development in our Select Tennessee Certified Site in 10 years. FTS will be the perfect fit and we look forward to working with the company.”
Along with the creation of new jobs and capital investment, FTS has made a sizable donation to two local organizations in Maury County. The company made a $5,000 donation to Maury County Public Schools to assist the Mount Pleasant High School STEAM Program compete in the nationally recognized Lexus Eco Challenge. These funds will help Mt. Pleasant High School create 3D printed plastic recycling containers to place in the Mt. Pleasant community as an effort to create more environmental awareness, which is a principle FTS highly promotes within the company. As a proponent of environmental responsibility, FTS hopes this can create a more positive impact on recycling. FTS also made a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maury County. This funding can be used to support the great programs and services that the Boys & Girls Clubs provides to over 1,200 youth of Maury County.
