Hutchison KS-based implement manufacturer Kuhn Krause Inc. is planning a $5 million expansion.
The company announced Wednesday that groundbreaking for a 70,000-square-foot building expansion is expected to begin in April. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
The Hutchison News reports the project will not initially create any new jobs at the plant.
The company said in a news release that the expansion will improve manufacturing capacity, efficiency and quality by using state-of-the-art technology.
